SEI Laser’s Mercury Fiber Reduces Production Time of Custom Electric Motors at VMF

First Lamination Laser Cut on Mercury Fiber from SEI Laser
Installed in January, the Mercury that laser cuts magnetic laminates enabled the company to rapidly develop four custom-tailored products. VMF begins with a semi-finished product made using SEI Laser’s machine, which is then refined in the special punching department. The SEI laser was vital to this start-up stage. The company’s highly qualified assistance and prompt actions during the machine’s start-up allowed VMF to achieve unexpected goals, such as sort lead times.
